Job summary :
Plan and implement a comprehensive grant program to attract, retain and increase charitable support from private foundations, primarily at the $25,000 and above level.
Reports to Director of Development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in English, Communications or Psychology preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in non-profit grant writing including the development and implementation of strategic direction, and Board development with committee work.
- Ability to present professionally and represent Hartford Hospital when soliciting top Foundation leaders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage procedures.
- Excellent people management skills and conflict resolution ability.
