Responsibilities:
Lead an amazing group of Data/Business Operations Analysts who drive deep insights into our business and help us make better decisions. These analysts will be focused on different business drivers (Growth, Retention, & Opex Efficiency) across different products (Insurance, Finance, Membership).
Transition our team from mostly pipeline and report creation to proactively developing insights and predictions that result in concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement
Develop and manage the roadmap for continual improvement of our analytics and reporting tools
Partner with Data Engineering to build the foundational data architecture that will underpin your analytics framework
Develop a long term vision and nearer term priorities for the Business Operations & Analytics team within Jerry
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Analytics, Technical Product Management, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Business Operations or other quantitative disciplines and a degree in statistics, economics, business, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
3+ years of analytical people management experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide and senior audience, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analysis
Proven track record of solving ambiguous and complex data problems
Proficiency using SQL to query large relational databases and ability to build and maintain processes to extract & integrate data from various sources
Deep experience developing successful analytics-based solutions to business problems
Exceptional critical thinking and attention to detail
