Position Overview

Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a single platform for all phases of major global construction projects. ACC Includes Architecture and Design, Pre-Construction Collaboration, Data Storage, and On-Site tools. The Bidding Team is responsible for the pre-construction experience that allows general contractors to share their project information and files with sub-contractors who can create and deliver proposals for jobs.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Bidding Team, you will be responsible for the care, ingenuity and growth of the Building Connected and BidBoard applications. You will contribute to integration efforts that connect the value of our bidding platform into the larger Autodesk Construction Cloud family of products. This includes developing new APIs, integration with existing Autodesk Cloud APIs, integration with Autodesk Docs, automation and management of cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Document architectural decisions and code design specifications




• Break apart complex initiatives into manageable chunks




• Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, SDETs, and other Software Engineers




• Work within a small, agile team, following a sprint methodology




• Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions




• Effectively communicate technical challenges within and across teams




• Focus on quality, including writing unit/integration tests and refactoring when appropriate, debug, and solve defects in implemented software solutions




• Participate in On-Call responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/certifications




• 3-5 years of experience working in a collaborative software engineering environment




• Experience delivering production quality code at scale

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of frontend frameworks like React and Redux




• Experience developing scalable backend services with frameworks like Node.js




• Database management and administration (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch)




• Experience writing SQL or similar data querying languages




• Familiarity with infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm




• Application and service monitoring and debugging with tools similar to DataDog, Splunk




• CI/CD experience (Jenkins)

Target Salary For This Position(Colorado): $145,000
