All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply, including individuals with disabilities and Protected VeteransCORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS* Responsible for the completion of Building Our Future (BOF) HQ and R&D project monthly close tasks* Ensure all partner invoices are received timely and accurately billed using audited rates and actual costs related to BOF efforts* Participate in various confidential project planning meetings gathering insights on how decisions may impact overall costs and benefits to the projects and Company* Maintain documentation of estimated costs of various cost models and version history for documenting decision making* Record and analyze various accounting records* Account for capitalized costs directly related to HQ project* Account for capitalized costs directly related to R&D project* Allocate general costs related to overall BOF* Responsible for managing BOF financial reporting compilation and distribution* Compile and distribute monthly close reports by partner and total for each HQ and R&D projects including comparison to budget and forecast to Executive Management and Project Leadership Team* Reconcile and provide variance explanations for actuals compared to both budget and forecast* Compile monthly forecasts and provide variance explanations to previous forecasts* Support continuous audit efforts related to construction costs* Maintain on-going audit efforts for construction partners throughout the project* Evaluate and drive continuous improvement opportunities.* Assist in partner onboarding efforts related to accounts payable system including ownership of MS Teams site storing legal documents, contracts, and invoice details; provide necessary documentation to support the audit efforts* Receive training from external auditors to take on responsibility of auditing monthly invoices to be received by each partner* Manage several BOF cross functional projects* Supervise one direct report* Collaborate and support various SW teams on the BOF project* Complete various ad-hoc requestsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS* FORMAL EDUCATION:* Required:* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance* KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:* Required:* 3+ years accounting/financial experience* Preferred:* Auditing, Oracle, Accounts Payable, MS Office, Coupa, Continuous Improvement, Project Management experience preferred* TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:* Required:* Knowledge of Oracle and system consolidation* Ability to professionally handle highly confidential financial information* Superior communication skills to effectively deal with all levels of key executives and control/budget level managers* Ability to maintain adequate company-wide accounting processes, procedures and controls, and effectively guide and support financial professionals with varying skills to effectively and accurately maintain the general accounting systems and consolidation ledger for the company.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel* Well organized* Sense of urgency* Strong desire to learn* Strong analytical skillsSherwin-Williams is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
