**Director Tower Construction & Operations**

The Director Tower Construction & Operations will oversee all new raw land build and carrier colocation projects across the Tower & Small cell business unit and ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget. This leader and their team will be responsible for creating, approving and executing all project scopes of work, identifying and vetting vendor material and labor agreements, and ensuring that projects meet all applicable ANSI / TIAA standards. This analytical and detail-oriented leader will partner cross-functionally and act as an escalation point of contact for all construction & operation matters.

Responsibilities:


* Accountable for all new project deployment (both internal & outsourced) including architectural and engineering services, zoning, permitting, construction services, deployment meetings, and closeout packages.

* Act as an escalation point of contact for customer escalations, an active participant in market level deployment meetings and provide up-to-date and accurate information on customer priorities, project status, forecasts, aging and issue resolution.

* Ensure all product lines are constructed within the standards set forth by Boingo and all ANSI / TIA construction specifications.

* Execute field team operational procedures to ensure consistent and continuous compliance by all employees and vendors with applicable safety and regulatory requirements, standards, and protocols.

* Proactively identify potential risk issues and collaborate with construction manager team to develop a preventative action plan to address them.

* Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of all applicable Contract Documents, including but not limited to General Contract Agreements, Subcontracts, and pricing agreements.

* Coordinate project pre-construction meetings, project kickoffs to establish ways of working processes from start to finish.

* Ensure that project quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the project.

* Attend client meetings to establish performance expectations and follow up with leadership and clients as required.


Requirements:


* A minimum of 7-10 years' of experience in wireless site development, construction, engineering, zoning, project management and vendor management.

* Demonstrated expertise in managing wireless construction professionals through network deployment and construction management required.

* Strong technical aptitude and experience managing wireless communications tower and small cell construction projects, working with landlord ground leases, utility easements, and regulatory compliance preferred.

* Construction management skills including CAD / design review, implementation, and project management.

* Ability to lead proactively and positively

* Sound analytical skills; good interpersonal skills; collaborative team player.

* Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.

* Solid understanding of financial management.

* Ensure all assets meet safety, compliance, and asset integrity standards through by working with construction management team, identifying and documenting discrepancies and following through on needed remediation.

* Effectively engage with construction managers, customers and vendors to manage projects, ensure timelines and safety standards are met during pre-construction meetings and post-construction site walks and when gathering and processing closeout data for internal and external customer construction.

* Bachelor's degree in Operations, construction management, Engineering, Business, Computer Science or related field.
