- Work closely with product development, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure all requirements are fully developed, understood, and met to achieve a smooth transfer to manufacturing.
- Design and development of new manufacturing equipment and processes for new specialty products.
- Carry out activities and plans for manufacturing equipment improvement projects.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment problems to operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement robust preventive maintenance and spare parts plans with controls and maintenance personnel.
- Support process engineering with machine and equipment expertise.
- Provide engineering support to production, including trouble shooting and yield improvement.
- Work to improve existing manufacturing processes using Lean manufacturing concepts.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Required Qualifications : BS Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience desired.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in high temperature furnace processes and controls is highly desired.
- Working knowledge of UV and LED curing equipment desired.
- Must have strong skills in data analysis, statistics, and data-based decision making.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Computer and programing skills preferred.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing desirable.
