Job Summary:

As a Senior UX / Product Designer, you will significantly impact products that millions of people use. We have a suite of mobile and web apps that are business-to-business and business-to-consumer focused. It will be your job to understand people, envision how they will experience our products, and bring that vision to life. You will take ownership of large projects, define problems, and deliver accessible, easy-to-use designs. You will employ behavioral economics, gamification, and loyalty systems theories to help drive healthy decisions. You will work with designers, customer success reps, executives, and engineers. You will touch all parts of the product design process, from research into pain points, user flows, and wireframes to creating prototypes, user testing, and collaboration with engineering. Your job will be to advocate for the user and ensure their needs are met while delighting and surprising them.

The product design team leads feature development. You will need to find and understand user pain points and define them into simple stories that can translate into smart design solutions. You will need to create designs with great visual aesthetics and make complex products simple to use.

What Are Your Skills?

  • You can take ownership of large projects and navigate ambiguity.
  • You have command of visual design principles and apply them in design system frameworks.
  • You have expertise in material design or other design systems for web and mobile applications and have contributed to them over time.
  • You demonstrate a strong understanding of UX design principles, information architecture, and multi-step and cross-platform flows. You design for the holistic user experience and can anticipate potential collisions between different products, features, and platforms.
  • You know established visual and UX patterns and balance them with platform-specific patterns to ensure a consistent, intuitive user experience.
  • You lead the vision for your product area alongside your product and engineering counterparts. Your design work references product goals, and you can speak confidently about how it relates to the broader product vision and company objectives.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication one-on-one and in a group setting. You communicate complex ideas and problems in a way accessible to people unfamiliar with the project. You can lead and direct group design conversations.
  • You follow the design process and use it to contextualize your work and the feedback needed at any given moment. You balance speed and quality based on the scope of the project and potential impact on the user and company.
  • You are fluent in Figma and other design and prototyping tools, including sketching, diagramming, and production HTML/CSS or platform SDKs.
  • You share your work early and often, seek feedback, and prioritize the feedback on your own and with the team.
  • You begin projects outlining the quantitative and qualitative data that will be important for the work and help define success. You share your learnings to help enhance everyone's understanding of the product and users.
  • You give direct feedback and help team members improve their skills and toolkits.
  • You can lead and help shape processes to contribute to the team s operational excellence.

  • Built sizable applications from the ground up or added significant features to existing applications.
  • Identified and optimized application performance and user behavior.
