What are we looking for:
DRT is seeking you, our next Business Analyst (BA) to support the USDA Assistant CIO Support (ACIO) contract working in the luxury of your own home. You will support, conduct and/or facilitate the executive level Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and/or audits for IT projects and/or programs. You will track programs through the lifecycle of the IBR process, facilitate readiness for IBRs, facilitate the meeting, and prepare the post-IBR report. There are multiple IRBs conducted throughout the month. You will also need to define, implement, and provide operational support for a process to manage information technology related data calls for the FPAC Agencies to ensure timely submittal of requests. To include coordination with stakeholders to support Congressional, Departmental, Mission Area and Agency reporting and data calls and continued support to maintain data call repositories. Tasks must be conducted in a professional manner, and with high levels of quality and customer satisfaction. To be successful in this role you need to be a strong communicator with excellent writing capabilities and respond to feedback and communication in a timely manner.

Project you will support:
DRT supports the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Information Solutions Division (ISD). The office of the Assistant CIO currently oversees six separate divisions within FPAC. This project provides Enterprise Management Support (EMS) to FPAC IT in ensuring the FPAC Agencies and IT remain aligned in ensuring the optimal selection and use of technology for the effective and cost-efficient delivery of FPAC goals. This project supports and strengthens the governance, reporting, data call, and geospatial control across the FPAC while enabling alignment with Department and external oversight bodies by providing comprehensive management support to improve visibility and oversight across the breadth of the FPAC IT and all associated initiatives.

- Provide support for data calls to the ACIO
- Assist the federal project manager in interpreting policies, procedures, goals, and objectives of the organization and align projects accordingly
- Submit work products and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
- Collect and integrate information in a routine and predictable manner to serve as the source for all types of program-level reporting

- Facilitate improved communication across the project team, hunting down information and inputs from the right parties, and establishing collaboration forums such as bi-weekly schedule integration


This is you:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience with at least 2 years of federal project or program management experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust with the US Federal Government
- Experience with the principles of exercising independent judgment, as well as a high level of analytical skill, in solving complex and unusual technical, administrative, and managerial problems
- Ability to work with the client with minimal supervision; this may involve identifying new opportunities to bring value to the client without direction
- Ability to navigate complex relationships with numerous government and contractor teams in multiple geographical areas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to reply to communication in a timely matter

You will wow us even more if you have these skills:
- Previous experience working with or for Federal Agencies
- Experience with JIRA, Microsoft Project, or other project management tools a plus

Please note that, as a government contractor, DRT may be required to ask for proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status upon hire or anytime thereafter if the executive order is upheld. Per the requirement, federal contractors and subcontractors must submit proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or have an approved accommodation to begin work.
