Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants interested in joining the Wentworth community as a Director of Financial Aid Compliance.
The Director of Financial Aid Compliance will be responsible for co-managing the day-to-day operations in the Financial Aid area. This individual will assist with hiring, training, evaluating, and developing the Financial Aid staff. Work closely with staff to resolve complex student issues and help them develop their problem-solving skills. Work closely with the Associate Vice President, Director of Operations and Associate Director of Outreach & Financial Literacy to set and revise office policies and procedures as needed. Monitor staff for consistent processes and operations within the office. Develop accurate data reporting. Monitor compliance issues as they pertain to the federal, state, and private programs. Responsible for ensuring that the college is in full compliance with all Higher Education Authorization Act. Assist with awarding and verification processing.

Handle sensitive issues and facilitate collaboration at the highest level. Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts to enhance workflow and work quality. Exchange detailed information or resolve varied problems. Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information. Identify needs/concerns of others, determine potential solutions, resolve or redirect appropriately. Persuade, gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas or collaborate on significant projects. Resolve conflict, negotiate, or collaborate on major projects. Act as a role model and leader to Financial Aid Staff members and the WIT community.
