Consolidated Supply Co. a Pacific Northwest plumbing, water works, and hydronic heating wholesale distributor has an opening for a Director of Operations. This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Tigard, Oregon with travel up to 50% of the time. This position reports to our Director of Branches.
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent in business management, operations management, information systems management, or related field; and
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in wholesale distribution management, with the responsibilities of inventory control, shipping, receiving, picking orders, and warehousing; or
- Working knowledge of a central distribution center is preferred, including, but not limited to daily activities, continuous improvement, technologies, and CDC setup
- 2+ years or more of experience implementing within a LEAN work environment preferred
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-described essential functions
- Ability to travel up to 50% within or out of company footprint
- Plans, develops, and implements safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures in compliance with legal regulations
- Responsible for overseeing and assuring compliance to Federal, State, and/or any other regulatory guidelines and agencies.
- Uses a safety and customer service first philosophy with both internal and external customers.
- Shows ability to be a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic team member that demonstrates leadership by example in all aspects of business.
- Self-starter, quick learner, and invested in one s personal career development.
- Solid computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.
