Solutions Engineer III -Remote

Your day-to-day:

• Work directly with other technical teams (platform development, product management, analytics, etc) to build innovative tech solutions utilized by our client and media teams
• Develop custom solutions for our clients using technologies such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, React, Python, SQL, MongoDB and AWS;
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship for junior to mid-level engineers, ensuring high code quality and industry best practices;
• Participate in code reviews, encourage knowledge sharing, and lead architecture design sessions;

Essential Requirements:

Although we are a team with diverse talents and backgrounds, here are some of the skills we are looking for in this role:

• 4+ years of related work experience
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Javascript, Python, Go, Ruby, etc.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies like React/Angular/Vue, HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, Kinesis, Cloudwatch)
• Experience with NoSQL and or SQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Postgres, etc.)
• Demonstrated attention to detail by shipping high-quality, unit tested code (Jest, Mocha, or similar)
• Strong desire to mentor and level-up teammates through code reviews and pair programming
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Requirements:

• Knowledge/Background in Marketing Technology
• Experience with Marketing Vendor APIs

General Description:

• Ensure code quality and product output are in line with PMG and industry standards
• Contribute to high-impact projects
• Work directly with other technical and cross-functional teams to improve internal products and create requirements for new features
• Develop and guide the roadmap for custom solutions that can scale across the business
• Assist with QA and troubleshooting of the larger team's code
• Identify market trends and analyze digital performance to create experimental solutions
• Provide strategic guidance for client teams through knowledge of media, technology, and innovation
• Innate ability to pick up new technologies.
• Lead team brainstorms and knowledge shares
• Work on a team that manages upwards of 5 products across 40+ clients
