Product Management Senior Advisor (Evernorth Digital)
This individual will offer strong project management, product and technical skills. Candidates will have experience working across teams/departments to effectively manage the digital product roadmap and relevant release cycles for our Care+ team. Core areas of focus are prioritization, capability and roadmap management, identifying dependencies across teams, working hand-in-hand with the product teams and becoming intimately involved in the digital product and software development lifecycle.
The Program Manager will have responsibilities ranging from strategy and planning to operations and delivery within the digital portfolio at Evernorth -- with a heavy emphasis on successful delivery of value-added capabilities for our complete Care+ portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the digital care and product roadmap for web and mobile and work across the product, UX, content and delivery teams to ensure the successful identification, decomposition, prioritization and delivery of all work across the team. Collaboration, communications, and the ability to create awesome presentations is an absolute must-have-ability. We also are looking for an individual that has experienced digital product delivery from multiple fronts and will challenge our processes to aid us in our quest for continuous improvement. Think dual-track agile, but we want someone that lives and breathes this language; a 10 min. YouTube tutorial will not cut it.
To be a successful Digital Program Manager at Evernorth, we require someone with the following proven capabilities:
- Collaborate with program management team on intake process and prioritization management
- Manage digital product roadmap and ensure project priorities are clear for the digital team
- Coordinate with product, UX, content and engineering/delivery teams for the execution of software development projects.
- Define and implement a structured release plan working across product teams including forecasting/resource planning, tracking and reporting aligned to the product vision.
- Work in collaboration with other agile leaders to ensure that appropriate resources and processes are put in place and maintained in support of the product roadmap.
- Ensure that projects are launched according to published schedule and proactively communicate appropriately any changes.
- Define project timelines and objectives, and keep stakeholders appraised of progress and roadblocks.
- Work to ensure that product and business KPIs are considered as software development progresses.
- Understand scope changes to ensure projects can be delivered according to the expected timeframe or mitigate risk/ issues and manage expectations with the delivery timeline.
- Design and improve processes to increase team velocity and quality of all artifacts and deliverables.
- Ensure projects impacts are communicated with various stakeholders and team members to ensure trainings or sales artifacts are completed and circulated timely.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field of study; OR have equivalent work experience
- 6 year's experience demonstrating history of managing the product roadmap from an inception to implementation.
- Successfully implemented process improvement for project delivery team
- Experience with Agile development methodologies & tools
- Entrepreneurial spirit + the ability to deliver and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- Comfortable and effective working across multiple business units, including Product, Engineering and Delivery teams
- Analytical, organized, and an independent problem-solver
- Excellent written, verbal, and PPT communications skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, as well as attention to detail
- Experience with software tracking tools, such as Rally, Jira, etc.

- Familiar with SQL
- Six Sigma Certification
- PMP Certification
