Global Distribution Director

Forcepoint is searching for a Global Distribution Director to join our Global Channels Organization. For this role, you should have a track record of successfully managing a network of Distributors for an Enterprise Software company. You will be responsible for leading our business with National and Regional Distributors around the world. This involves building trust-based relationships, business plans, GTM strategies, establishing operational best practices and successfully executing sales targets. You will own the annual business plan with Distribution, developing recommendations for investments and sales targets and owning the overall outcome.

Primary job responsibilities

• Own and grow Forcepoint's business through a network of Distributors around the world.
• Design programs, incentives, promotions and investments designed to achieve specific outcomes
• Working closely with Marketing, develop field campaigns that drive Distribution sales through a variety of channel partners
• Working closely with Training, ensure Distribution personnel are well-skilled with Forcepoint products, technical architecture, and sales practices
• Work closely with the Renewals team and Distributors to improve renewal rates, increase process efficiency and Renewal KPIs.
• Develop business case models to justify proposed incentives, campaigns and investments
• Increase partner recruitment & productivity by leveraging the capabilities of Distributors
• Develop metrics, analytics, and reporting that derive insights from Distributor business data. Leverage the BI/Analytics capabilities of our Distributors to target the right partners, the right market segments and drive productivity
• Consolidate and simplify our Distribution network wherever possible
• Implement internal best practices and operations that maximize our leverage & growth through Distributors
• Identify and recruit new Distributors based on product, market segment and growth requirements. ) onboard new Distributors and make them productive rapidly
• Work closely with Finance and Partner Operations on budgeting, annual planning and related tasks.
• Ensure Distributors are in Compliance with Forcepoint legal, financial, and program requirements
• Work closely with Field & Channel teams around the world to ensure a healthy and profitable partner ecosystem

Required skills

• 10+ years in Distribution management in leadership as well as hands-on capacities
• Distribution program design and operations experience, preferably software related within a security ecosystem.
• Understanding of two-tier channels as well as experience with complex Routes-to-Market such as MSSPs, Global Systems Integrators, Technology Partners, and Cloud Marketplaces.
• Knowledge in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com), PRM Systems. CPQ, and experience in leveraging the systems & tools offered by Distributors
• Deep planning and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to apply these skills with business acumen to complex situations with competing priorities
• Ability to think in terms of high-scale systems and processes, with an understanding of how to design & optimize them.
• Leadership skills with the ability to influence teams without formal authority
• Highly Organized, able to multi-task and lead multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment
• Able to speak in front of different audiences as well as write clearly and compellingly for a variety of user groups
• Ability to be highly productive with minimal oversight from senior management. Ability to set goals and drive to successful completion. You take responsibility for actions & outcomes and you are accountable for successes & failures.
• Bachelor's degree required, Masters Degree preferred
