Key Role:
Join as a leader in our elite Digital Battlespace Platform (DBP) team to build next generation technologies for our defense clients. Advise organizational leadership on emerging technologies and market targets of opportunity for marketing and implementation. Work alongside leadership to ensure IT and business planning are fully integrated to increase business capability and value, reduce cost and risk, foster innovation, and maximize accountability and return on investment. Interact frequently with internal and external management and senior-level customer representatives concerning Booz Allen investments, customer projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and contractual clarifications. Lead briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives. Perform as the go-to person to integrate business goals and objectives with specific IT strategies, programs, initiatives, and investments. Advise organizational leadership on emerging software and open system technologies and how to implement those and work alongside leadership to ensure IT and business planning are fully integrated on a continuous basis to increase business capability and value to our clients. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
Basic Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience with software engineering or data engineering
- 5+ years of experience with solutions engineering for the DoD
- 3+ years of experience with DevSecOps for the DoD and DoD Mission System implementation
- 3+ years of experience with systems engineering and requirements decomposition
- Experience with the application of Agile practices, principles, and patterns and fielding operational System of System architectures
- Experience with managing multiple parallel technical projects and project teams
- Knowledge of Enterprise-scale architecture and the application to Cloud platform transformation
- Ability to conduct technology assessments and market analysis
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with one or more of the following DoD programs: AFATDS and JTC2S
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with executive-level briefing materials and delivery
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree
- Intelligence and National Security Training preferred
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
