The Manager, Global Regulatory Strategy provides strategic leadership and oversight for regulatory exams, inquiries, and information requests to maximize positive exam outcomes.

Key objectives, in partnership with Compliance and Legal team members are to ensure correct interpretation of requests; complete, clear, and accurate responses; sufficient planning of milestones to meet delivery dates; and further maturity in our exam governance strategy, processes, and execution.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring an organized and well communicated exam governance process, advising in all phases of exams, and providing thorough, detailed, careful, and logical review of responses.

This individual will also ensure that exam governance related policies, processes, and procedures are specified, updated, and followed.

Primary Responsibilities


Develop and maintain a deep and broad understanding of the company's compliance program, as well as overall operations which are impacted by regulatory rules and laws.

In collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Governance, and other teams, advise on strategies, processes, and risks related to exams and regulatory inquiries.

Provide consult on inquiries and exam requests related to scope, timelines, strategy, and approach. Consider the full program of exams, resource needs, company and industry trends, and the regulatory environment.
Provide final team review of inquiries, proposed respondents, responses, meeting agendas, and slide decks as needed. Proofread and edit regulator responses, including large files of data. Ensure critical communications to regulators are reviewed by the necessary people prior to submitting.
Creates clean, professional, and insightful summaries, presentations, and reports for senior leadership, including the ELT. Creates, updates, improves, and maintains process documents and communication tools. Manages process changes through clear organizational change management and stakeholder management.
Contributes to team and department goals, strategies, and continuous improvement. Looks for opportunities to automate.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in a business, regulatory, or compliance related field.
ACAMS/CAMS or similar certification preferred.

Experience

10 years of professional experience.
5+ years direct or indirect global management experience.

Posting details:

Anticipated Base Pay:
$113,700-$160,000 (Performance Bonus Target available for this role)
