Working as part of an agile team with an entrepreneurial approach, you’ll collaborate with specialists across the business to develop best-in-class systems. What you will do
- Make key contributions to mission-critical Trading Compliance system modernization effort from on-prem to high-performance cloud-based streaming service architecture
- Design, implement, test, and support cloud-native, hybrid, and on-prem systems
- Collaborate with development team to deliver high-quality solutions to business users
- Understand and critically analyse business functional, and technical requirements
- Adopt and implement best practices, and champion an engineering culture emphasizing efficiency, qualify, and automation
- On-call rotation to support production systems for our business users

What you will bring
- 7+ years solid experience in Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot
- 7+ years software development experience
- Solid experience with service-oriented architecture or micro services
- Ability to develop efficient SQL queries (e.g. Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server)
- B.S. in computer science or equivalent education required
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred experience:
- Engineering experience in AWS, Streaming, Kafka, Flink a plus
- Experience with modern configuration management and build tools (GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD)
- Financial services or Fixed Income industry experience a plus
