As a Staff Security Technical Program Manager you will be a member of the Security PMO team, working very closely with the various Security teams and other key stakeholders throughout the organization, and interacting with Databricks leadership.


You will be responsible for program managing high impact and sensitive security programs.


The Impact You Will Have


  • Capable of independently managing projects of high complexity, high risk, and very high business impact
  • Supports complex initiatives that involve cross-functional/org work, external partnerships, and coordination between teams that often have competing priorities
  • Demonstrated track record for identifying and delivering high impact, well-adopted projects
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results (e.g, evaluates the current processes and procedures and recommends alternative approaches)
  • Networks with key contacts outside their own area of expertise
  • Work on projects with a defined business problem, but the technical strategy and solution are unknown


What We Look For
  • In order to comply with U.S. Government information security and federal contractor regulations, including Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements for Impact Level 6 Cloud Service Provider personnel, and facilitate compliance with other regulations such as FedRAMP High baseline, and requirements of certain federal contracts, this role is open to United States citizens only.
  • 7+ years of technical program/project/relationship management experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to complete projects with multiple dependencies and constraints
  • Experience defining programs, operational processes, identifying risks, managing cost, coordinating scope, identifying dependencies, scheduling and deploying new products and features
  • Ability to build relationships with and manage diverse stakeholders remotely
  • Experience working in a high velocity, dynamic environment
  • Domain experience in US government and industry security compliance frameworks (e.g. FedRAMP), and broader Assurance and/or Security
    • Domain experience in security compliance and auditing (e.g. FedRAMP, PCI)
  • Experience creating executive level presentations and other collateral
  • PMP Certification and/or Agile Certifications are preferred
