Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Architect who will provide leadership on definitions of security architecture, including the development and implementation of effective security administration processes for all platforms. Develops and recommends security designs and frameworks for technology systems by defining process and architecture for creating secure networks, building firewalls and implementing intrusion-detection systems. Serves as an internal information security consultant to the organization. Participates on projects and recommends secure solutions based on policies, standards and best practices. Maintains awareness of emerging industry security technologies, technology issues, regulatory issues and practices. Provides Information Security subject matter expertise in various risk assessments (inherent and then define the residual risk of a target state). Weighs business needs against security concerns and recommends necessary changes to enhance information systems security. Consults with business lines and IT Development Groups on the development of ISS security exception requests, provides assistance with general security questions, design and consulting. Meets with technology leaders to assess posture and then identifying risk gaps & prioritizing what must be closed from a security perspective Will then design a target state architecture to move from their current environment, manage any identified risk and define the target state

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • At least seven years of experience with processes, tools, techniques and practices for assuring adherence to standards associated with accessing, altering and protecting organizational data
Experience Should Include:
  • 5+ years experience in full stack information security technologies (including vulnerability management, cloud posture, network security tools (ie: reverse & forward proxies, firewall)
  • 3+ years experience conducting cloud-based organizational security assessments
  • 3+ years experience assessing Risk management
  • 5+ years Cloud security architecture experience across data, application, and infrastructure domains.
  • 3+ years experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • 2+ years experience with regulatory frameworks FISMA, FedRAMP, PCI, GLBA, GDPR, SOX, SOC1, SOC2, PSD2
  • 2+ years experience with CSA CCM (Cloud Controls Matrix) and NIST frameworks
  • 2+ years experience establishing Cloud governance encompassing standards, procedures, and policy
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud industry trends and direction and environment
  • 2+ years experience establishing and reporting on Cloud metrics and KPIs
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience with mergers & acquisitions (participating in M&A activity - primarily on the acquisition side)
  • ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) - OR - Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Cloud Certifications (AWS or Azure)
  • CSA Certification CCAK or CCSK
  • Demonstrated ability of professional communications both written and verbal
  • 3+ years experience with single large acquisition OR multiple years of smaller acquisition experience

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $125,715.00 - $147,900.00 - $162,690.00
