Overview:
Support new client with Marketing and Member Membership relations work. The new client has 4 main strategic objectives:
1. Increase membership
2. Improve Marketing by focusing on gatekeepers such as colleges and universities, programs. Auction houses
3. Improve educational offerings to meet the changing needs of membership while maintaining our high standards of quality.
4. Improve Technology.

Publications and Communications:
Client publishes and maintains three manuals that are updated at various intervals.
Other duties as assigned – this is a new client relationship so internal team will include support from Accounting, IT, and administrative help but it is a hands-on role, especially during the client onboarding window.
Qualifications:
This position will have a limited amount of travel (up to 10%) and will be a hybrid position (in office / remote work).

Responsibilities:
Marketing Services:
Collaborate with Marketing Director of Client to provide Marketing services for the client.
Manage website content to ensure that materials provided are engaging and meet client branding standards. (Content provided by client.)
Direct marketing efforts to help client create greater visibility, higher membership levels, additional contacts, repeat sponsorships, referrals and speaking engagements.
Maintain a client marketing calendar.
Provide monthly reports of marketing, analytics and other lists as requested by the client board.
Assist client with development of an Annual Marketing plan.
Craft and execute effective and engaging marketing & communication strategies & policies for internal and external communications, including (but not limited to) email, webinars, press releases, newsletters, brochures, advertisements, and social media.
Generate and follow up on marketing opportunities and leads.
Advise and coordinate with leaders and staff on recruitment strategies.
Assist with establishing marketing efforts to affiliated industries & gatekeepers.
Provide graphic support for Marketing materials.
Run and oversee member webinars and courses
Field member inquiries and question related to their member status and credentialing process
Work with Education Director to oversee the credentialing process
Work with Board and Key stake holders
Work on budget and governance initiatives with the Executive Director
Publications and Communications:
Client publishes and maintains three manuals that are updated at various intervals.
Coordinate the design, ordering, production and distribution of manuals and promotional materials.
Other duties as assigned – this is a new client relationship so internal team will include support from Accounting, IT, and administrative help but it is a hands-on role, especially during the client onboarding window.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Thrive in a fast-paced environment & ability to successfully manage multiple projects
Ability to handle both strategic and operational aspects of a marketing and communications role
Ability to work independently as well as with team members across departments
Strong written and oral communications skills
Minimum of 5 years of Client relations experience in marketing or communications
Willingness to work through early stages of client relationship and provide excellent service
Strong work ethic and professional manner.
