Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting an Azure Senior Engineer to support the Consumer Health Business. The position can be located globally.
Azure Senior Engineer will be responsible for engineering cloud automation capabilities for Azure Public Cloud. Azure Senior Engineer will be part of the Cloud automation team which is responsible for automated provisioning and compliance of public cloud services.
The Cloud automation team ensures public cloud services are provisioned in a timely manner to Business partners. The Cloud automation team also ensures the various public cloud services remain compliant to the highest of security standards.

Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting an Azure Senior Engineer to support the Consumer Health Business. The position can be located globally.
Azure Senior Engineer will be responsible for engineering cloud automation capabilities for Azure Public Cloud. Azure Senior Engineer will be part of the Cloud automation team which is responsible for automated provisioning and compliance of public cloud services.
The Cloud automation team ensures public cloud services are provisioned in a timely manner to Business partners. The Cloud automation team also ensures the various public cloud services remain compliant to the highest of security standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design solutions for automated provisioning and compliance of various Azure services using cloud-native capabilities and micro-services-based development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in the design and development of various hybrid cloud capabilities. Facilitate design and review sessions between multiple teams including Engineering, Operations, and Security teams.
- Perform reviews of technical documentation that supports various automation capabilities. Create design documents that facilitate the acceleration of adoption of various cloud services among application teams
- Partner with external service providers to provide talent and services to drive high standards
- Drive innovation through automation of services and capabilities
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required, preferably in STEM field
- 6 years of relevant technology experience
- Strong grasp of Azure PaaS services
- Strong background in software engineering
- Hand-on experience in building solutions using various Azure services
- Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages preferably Python
- Strong understanding of agile development processes
- Understanding of micro-services and REST APIs-based application development
- Understanding of GIT-based source code management, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices
- Experience in developing Azure Policy
- Must be able to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to management effectively
- Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
- With little supervision, must be able to define, shape, and drive projects to completion while effectively collaborating strategically with others
- Must be able to lead and influence others
- Must be able to mentor, instruct, and review technical deliverables of junior staff and peer engineers
- Strong verbal and writing skills
- Must be results-driven, a quick learner, and a self-starter
- Preferred developer/associate/expert certification in Azure
