Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Proposal Manager located in Orlando, FL to be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced organization. The Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Proposal Operations team provides support to strategic proposal efforts from multiple MFC lines of business responsible for designing, developing, producing and supporting precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries.

The candidate will report directly to the MFC Proposal Operations Manager. The candidate must be able to manage the entire proposal process for complex proposals to meet proposal delivery deadlines. The Proposal Manager must:

Work with capture and proposal teams to develop and prepare high-quality, compliant proposals.

Analyze solicitation / RFI / DRFP / RFQ / RFP documents and develop compliance matrices, outlines and templates that adhere to solicitation / RFP requirements.

Work with Business Development, Capture and Proposal teams to develop compliant, compelling and accurate proposal sections. Can also serve as volume lead/book boss.

Develop proposal schedule, identify roles and responsibilities of proposal personnel resources, ensure proposal teams adhere to style convention guidelines.

Conduct quality control checks and review written sections to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements.

Lead pre- and post-RFP release daily coordination calls

Manage proposal production processes

Assist with taskings to ensure the Grand Prairie Proposal Center working spaces are well-maintained for capture and proposal teams. Maintenance of the Proposal Center tasks to include, but not limited to:

Serve as a point of contact for Capture and Proposal team needs

Support special projects and complete other responsibilities associated with the position such as event planning, preparation of marketing or business development materials.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must have graphics design experience.
Candidate must have editing, formatting, and desktop publishing experience.
Candidate must have prior experience in Special Access Required proposal efforts.
Desired Skills:
Lead proposal efforts on large Department of Defense, Army, Navy, or Airforce proposal.
