The Enterprise Operations Smart Factory organization is seeking a leader for the Manufacturing Systems and Solutions team to drive the transformation of our Strategic Business Unit Operations in their industry 4.0 journeys. This role will lead a team of Operations business process and systems experts and work directly with SBU Subject Matter Experts and Digital Technology Service Owners to advance the digital transformation of our Collins Operations sites. This transformation will drive shop floor manufacturing efficiency and improved end user experience and will be instrumental in the advancement of the Connected Operations (CO) / Digital Product Life Cycle (DPLC) initiatives across Collins. The team supports 130+ Collins manufacturing sites globally to optimize manufacturing processes and set strategy for digital transformation .
The ideal candidate will have worked in a manufacturing environment and have a passion for learning new technology and can lead the team to define and solve complex business problems and feel confident influencing change across the Collins SBUs and sites.
The person selected will support solutions and aligned strategies for our Connected Operations (CO) /Digital Product Life Cycle (DPLC) initiatives in Manufacturing Systems, Factory intelligence and Connected Assets .
This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace location or remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the team of Product Owners and work closely with the Connected Ops PMO and SBU subject matter experts to drive successful deployment of common I4.0 solutions across our sites
- Daily contact with end users to gather, understand and interpret technical and functional requirements
- Support Project teams to upgrade and deploy Solumina MES at manufacturing facilities across Collins
- Support MES change management, training and testing with business unit customersCreate functional documentation in support of Enterprise solutions
- Perform cross functional coordination with Materials Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Digital teams as required
- Must be willing and able to travel 30% of the time (domestic and international )
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience. In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required
- Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
- 5+ years of experience in shop floor operations or MES implementations
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a virtual global team

- Experience with Solumina
- Experience with SAP m anufacturing processes

The salary range for this role is $169,000.00 to $228,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
