We are growing quickly and actively looking for a Staff Mechanical Engineer to bring new products to market. This role is available in the San Francisco Area with a hybrid model of remote and on-site work.

- Architect and design complex electromechanical systems, including plastic, metal, and soft goods components integrated with novel sensors and actuators
- Collaborate with electrical engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, and product team members to develop products from early-stage concepts to mass production
- Perform various testing and analyses to ensure designs meet product goals, including thermal, fluid, and structural analyses
- Define and oversee testing requirements, fixtures, and equipment needed to validate designs during development and in production
- BSME, MSME, or related
- 5+ years of consumer product design experience
- Knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal forming, soft goods, and electromechanical systems
- Experience with 3D modeling and simulation tools (Solidworks, ProEngineer, etc)
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing processes, DFM, DFA, tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing
- Understanding of root cause analysis, DOE, GD&T, and other quality measuring techniques
- Experience supporting manufacturing in Asia
