We are currently seeking an Associate Manager Regulatory Engagement to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role is open to remote possibilities.
In this role you will:
- Support development and execution of stakeholder-specific engagement strategies to advance tobacco harm reduction and the related materials to support those strategies.
- Develop content for, and manage, assets that support external engagement efforts, including presentations, Altria Science site and Twitter account.
- Manage program to deliver training and preparation programs for subject matter experts (on regulatory policy and regulatory science) who will engage externally, including presenting at conferences and one-on-one stakeholder engagements.
- Create, enhance and maintain infrastructure that supports successful execution and tracking of key external engagement priorities and strategies
What we want you to have:
- BS or Advanced Degree in a related field: political science, public affairs, public policy, science
- 3+ years’ experience in public affairs, corporate communications, external affairs or related areas; or 3-4 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs, RD&E, product development, health sciences or related discipline
- Knowledge of legislative, regulatory and legal processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience participating on cross-functional teams
- Project management experience
