Provide primary Help Desk support for SPR remote site users including Stennis Facility. Provide support for New Orleans site users as required.
Provide primary support for video conferencing and audio visual support at all SPR locations and also train other staff regarding use of the equipment.
Provide primary technical support for the CommSec Center and Security specialized equipment. Provide user support, hardware and software, including installation, configuration, operability, maintenance and retiring of assets.
Provide primary technical support for the retirement of assets including sanitization, documentation and verification.
Determine issues and recommends solutions and also improvements/enhancements regarding the SPR IT environment and users at the remote sites.
Coordinate with required Customer Services and remote sites? Property personnel to keep an accurate accounting of Data Systems end user production and spare peripheral equipment at each remote site location.
Coordinate with each designated remote site point of contact regarding required Customer Services support, end user equipment and functionality of assets.
Perform Functional Administrator duties for the DS service application.
As needed assist other DS departments in performing testing and tasks required for information technology services at the remote sites and Stennis Facility.
Installs and monitors new hardware and software and interacts with vendors, and user community to resolve technical issues at the remote sites. Create and modify technical documentation as required.

Qualifications
REQUIRED: Bachelors of Science in Information Systems. A minimum of seven years' experience in installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software, providing video conferencing support and audio-visual equipment, customer support/service, help desk and problem solving skills. Microsoft Windows administration, Security Clearance Level L(New Orleans office only), self-starter, organization and time management skills. Effective written and oral communication skills are required to communicate with customers in a professional manner, as well as document incoming incidents and requests. In lieu of education, 10 years experience in customer support/help desk supporting 1000 or more users and technical systems support.
DESIRED: Certified Microsoft Office Specialist
