The Technical Product Sales Support Engineer is responsible for technical sales support on Advanced Voice services to achieve target budget for the sales professionals with which they are aligned. Act as the technical expert during the presales process and provide experienced support to the customer's technical team to bridge their need with Comcast services and products. Works as a collaborative member of the sales team to market and sell the Company's voice product lines including Comcast Managed Voice, PRI, SIP Trunks, Hospitality and BCI services as a bundle or standalone offer.

Job Description - Core Responsibilities:
  • Performs needs analyses for the Company and its customers and produces strategic, cost-effective solutions.

  • Provides timely, technical support and problem resolution for field service questions.

  • Supports Sales team with product modifications and engineering expertise for custom projects.

  • Assists representatives and customers in evaluating and selecting products.

  • Creates, reviews and executes product test plans and cases, documents test progress and reports results.

  • Recommends products to meet customer needs.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Cisco certification required.

  • Applicants must reside in the Northeast Division.

  • Limited amount of travel within the Northeast Division footprint.

  • Prior Sales Engineer experience at the Enterprise Account level required

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree, Certifications, CISCO Certified

  • Relative Work Experience: 2-5 Years

  • Applicants must reside in the Northeast Division.
