What You’d Do
The Workforce Experience Designer helps design experiences (interactions + transactions) that meet workforce expectations. In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp client needs and collaborate with others to solve problems and continually improve. You will collaborate with Leapgen Consultants, our Clients and their software providers and implementation partners to help design frictionless experiences throughout the design thinking lifecycle - from getting to know and empathize with members of the workforce to iterating on ideas and recommending changes to processes and/or content to providing input on proofs-of-concepts and prototypes to be tested.
The Day-to-Day Stuff
Participate with Leapgen Consultants in customer research (e.g., focus groups, interviews, surveys) to create personas and journey maps based on how our customers’ workforces experience work today
Find creative ways to solve UX and knowledge management problems (e.g. usability, findability)
Make recommendations on how best to improve experiences (e.g., streamline processes, change the interaction model, modify information architecture) recommend how to evaluate success
Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs [to be enabled via any number of HR and workforce technologies]
Build out and refine tools & templates with guidance from the company's Services team members
Great communicator with fellow Leapers and customers alike. We operate on it!
We use both Google apps and Microsoft Office apps; you probably do, too
Proficiency developing process flows (e.g., LucidChart, Visio, Miro) preferred
This Should Describe You
Passion for solving customer problems (and proven ability to do so)
Interest/Experience in HR and digital workforce experience design
Minimum 2 years design experience, either customer-facing or internal to an organization
Strong portfolio of design projects is a really nice bonus
Education
Bachelor’s Degree ideal
Certificate in Design with a focus on UX is also awesome!
