Great careers begin with great opportunities! We are currently searching for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Grand Prairie, TX to provide services in school program for the 2022-2023 school year.

Our interventions and service models include direct service, consultation, and evaluation, as well as school staff and parent education.
We serve public schools, county educational programs, charter schools, homeschool programs and private schools.
Our students range in age from 3 to 21 years and include mild to profound deficits in the following areas:
Articulation/Phonology the production of individual sounds in wordsFluency the steady flow or smoothness of speech productionReceptive Language the ability to understand languageExpressive Language the ability to convey thoughts, ideas and feelingsPragmatic Language social language use in contextVoice volume and quality of vocal outputOur dynamic team of Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants are supported by continuous in-house mentoring and professional development opportunities.
These include regularly scheduled TheraChat meetings and multi-disciplinary team collaboration.
All of our therapists maintain continuing education requirements and we value the pursuit of additional training as well as the application of current research to ensure that we, as a team, stay on the cutting edge of advancements in our field.Requirements:
State licensure or ability to obtain required licensureExperience working in school programs or with pediatric populations is preferredProficiency implement SLP therapy treatment for school-aged children with cognitive communication disorders, speech and/or language impairments or delays under the supervision of a SLPServe as a member of the IEP Team for students with speech and/or language concernsFacilitate goals and objectives per child s educational planMaintain appropriate recordsWork in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible studentsAbility to effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parentsEnsure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulationsPerform other SLPA duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certificationBenefits:
