Job Details
We are looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to help in mechanical design, design of motion systems, and serval motor tuning and testing for our capital equipment. Some responsibilities and skills include:
- CAD experience using Solidworks
- Experience in mechanical design of motion systems; familiarity with transmissions such as belt drives, ball screws, bearing selection, and motor selection including stepper motors and DC servo motors.
- Experience with system dynamics modeling, servo-systems design and analysis of motion systems. Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink is a plus.
- Experience with X-Ray imaging systems is a plus
- Experience with Solidworks simulation for static, dynamic, and thermal analyses
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree is required
- 5 years of experience in related experience is required.
