Job Description Summary: ADI is seeking an experienced Plasma Etch Process engineer to support an expansion at our factory in Beaverton, Oregon. Job Description: Typical Responsibilities include: Developing improvements to manufacturing processes and modifications to production process flows to improve yield, quality, cost, and cycle time Root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementation of yield improvement programs Troubleshooting process shifts and discrepant material Optimizing process to lower cost, maximize output, and match performance across tools Qualifying new equipment, new raw materials, and new consumable parts Developing and monitoring process and equipment measurements to improve quality Analyzing cycle time and equipment overall operational efficiency Writing operating procedures and specifications Partnering with manufacturing operations to continuously improve factory performance Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field of study. 8 years of industry experience with at least four having been in CVD, PVD, or RTA processes Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication skills Demonstrated technical leadership skills and ability to productively engage with individuals from a range of backgrounds. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with a high degree of ownership Self-starter with a strong worth ethic who will thrive in a dynamic 24/7 operation Education: Work Experience: Pay Rate Type: Salary Eligible for Relocation: Yes Eligible for Work Visa Sponsorship: Yes This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations; including but not limited to US Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or US Treasury Regulations.
