We First is looking for a director of business development or partnerships who can help capture the current momentum behind the company and take the business and its impact to the next level. To do this job effectively the candidate must have direct experience in working with both corporate and entrepreneurial brands, with sales and marketing to not only close existing opportunities but also develop new ones, and also familiarity in the purpose, CSR, sustainability, ESG or D&I world would be a bonus.





This would be a base salary and commission package and it is important to the candidate and We First that the person cares deeply about business as a force for good, that likes to work in an inclusive and family-style team and that knows how to command the attention of founders and senior executives alike and to close new business opportunities. We are a small but growing company, and we all wear many hats so you ideally are a multitasker, can take direction and can work autonomously.





This is an exciting time when business is playing a more meaningful role in shaping society and our future and we are looking for a candidate that is as deeply passionate about enabling We First to further grow its business and scale its impact.





Key Responsibilities:



  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities

  • Identify, establish, and develop relationships with key stakeholders at target companies

  • Maintain relationships with existing clients

  • Work with We First leadership to identify growth opportunities

  • Develop sales presentations and materials

  • Reviewing and routing project-related legal paperwork (proposals, MSA’s, SOW’s, NDAs) with Head of Client Services

  • Identify industry events, awards, conversations and marketing opportunities

  • Represent We First at industry conferences and events

About You




  • You care about making an impact whether it be in your peer group, your community, the world at large.

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic planning, consulting (industry expertise a plus)

  • Proven track record to meet or exceed revenue goals

  • Excellent communication, strategic and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to interface with all levels of management, from C-Suite to directors to project managers

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills (financial modeling experience would be a plus)

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to develop, author and deliver presentations

  • A proven understanding of consulting, advertising, comparable markets

  • You believe that business can be a force for good.
