About this position
We are looking for a Senior .NET Software Developer to join our growing team. You'll join a fast-moving, cross-functional team designing and developing elegant cloud-based solutions for complex problems.
Our ideal candidate is curious, always looking for new ways to solve problems, and has the aptitude to implement complex technologies quickly and effectively. You value design patterns that avoid redundancy, promote efficiency, and are easy to maintain. In addition, you are collaborative and can make a well-rounded contribution to the team.
This is a full-time position out of our Lexington, KY office and can be on-site, hybrid, or remote. If remote, you can expect to visit the office for new hire orientation and typically for team meetings once a quarter.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to the architecture, development, and maintenance of current and future products
- Work with our partners to turn ideas into real-life features
- Collaborate on projects from conception to completion and beyond
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality
- Mentor and help the team to continuously improve processes and ways of working
What We're Looking For:
- Microsoft.NET Development with C#, C , Java, Ruby
- 3 years experience as a developer for a SaaS company
- The ability to work and mentor people of varying technical abilities
- Critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Robust application debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL, including complex joins, query performance, triggers, views
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles
- Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud services
- Experience with front-end libraries and frameworks such as Bootstrap, ReactJS, and Redux
- Experience in dental, logistics, hospitality, or other vertical markets
