- Phase South includes improvements on I-495 from the vicinity of the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Virginia, across and including the American Legion Bridge to the I-270 west spur, and the I-270 west spur from I-495 to I-370.

- /nParsons is looking for transportation engineers of all levels and disciplines including roadway, water resources, and structural.
- These positions can be based in either Washington, DC, Baltimore, or Centreville.
- /nOpportunity : Project Manager - Drainage/n
- In this role, you will act as the primary interface with internal design teams and take the lead for all Drainage/Hydrology aspects of major Transportation projects with the clients and our JV partners/n
- You will be a key member of our Road/Highway Practice to assist in executing these projects across the state and help us identify new opportunities to expand our Drainage practice.
- Projects may include hydrologic analysis, inlet design, storm sewer design, ditch and channel design, cross drain design, retention/detention basin design, water quality analysis, adequate outfall design and design of on and off-site drainage facilities.
- As a leader, you must be able to demonstrate excellent design expertise in these areas, as well as mentor and lead engineers in the preparation plan documents and reports, such as storm-water plans and permit applications for highway projects, drainage criteria documentation, drainage design reports, and pond siting reports/n
- /xc2/xa0 Using your technical expertise, you will ensure the highest quality of engineering is put forth to meet all design criteria requirements.
- Our Lead Project Managers are heavily involved in identifying new opportunities within the project and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within pre-identified budget and scope;/n
- Project manager will stay technically hands-on throughout the life of the project, managing the project through final execution.
- Interest and the ability to function in a leadership capacity and manage a team of engineers, designers and technicians.
- Experience directing work involving complex technical situations/n
- Excellent written and oral communications skills/n
- Experience VA/MD/DC experience is required/nMinimum Clearance Required to Start:/nNot Applicable/None/nThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
