Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking a Direct Placement Recruiter to join our talented team in Long Island New York. If you are an experienced Direct Placement Recruiter with impeccable professionalism and the drive to excel in a competitive market, we want to talk to you

The Direct Placement Recruiter directs the placement of qualified candidates into regular/direct positions with Volt's customers. This position is also responsible for generating candidates and job orders through cold calling, targeted sales and recruiting activity.

Essential Functions

Negotiate placement fee agreements and employment offers with key decision-makers in a variety of industries.
Coordinate with Business Development Managers and Account Managers to ensure quality delivery to client's requisitions. Work with the sales team on account development and account management.
Generate viable job orders from customers - taking accurate job descriptions and understanding company requirements and cultures so that an accurate match can be made.
Spend dedicated time actively marketing to management level executives both candidates and positions through telephone, e-mail and correspondence.
Identify, recruit, and interview industry professionals to build an active database of qualified candidates. Conduct behavior-based interviews to qualify the candidate's professional strengths, accomplishments, motivations and personal career objectives.

Desired Skills and Experience
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

2-3 years business to business Sales experience preferred.
Direct Hire/recruiting experience required.
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in comparable field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
