About the role
Are you someone who enjoys delighting users with excellent design and a robust tech stack? We are building a component based framework that includes a collection of shared modules, components, packages and utility libraries that will accelerate delivery of content for the home detail pages. We will maximize reusability and performance of shared components through common tooling and infrastructure.
While we are always looking for new ways to innovate, our current code base is a mix of React, NodeJS, and other Javascript tools on the front-end. In addition to working in areas of the above, part of your role on our team will be identifying new tools and technologies that will help us improve our architecture and move more quickly. As the Development Manager, you will:
* Own the end-to-end software lifecycle
* Lead the team in solving difficult problems

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In Colorado, the standard pay range for this role is $181,000.00 - $289,100.00 Annually. This range is specific to Colorado and may not be applicable to other locations.
Who you are
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
* At least five years of full-time experience and very high proficiency programming in JavaScript or similar languages.
* At least two years in a management or tech lead role. A passion for mentoring and growing the potential of others.
* A proven track record of high productivity in designing, coding, debugging web applications.
* Collaborative working style with a strong focus on well-adapted execution and results.
* Iterative approach to software development combined with the commitment to move fast and think big.
* Real passion for great engineering, demonstrated through depth and breadth of knowledge.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
