As a Advanced Wound Therapy Account Manager - Medical Device Sales, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Driving 3M revenue by developing and managing relationships with key clinical decision-makers to understand and fulfill account service, clinical education, training, and in-servicing needsLeveraging current customer relationships to drive VAC and AWC Solution adoption/usageIdentifying new patients that could benefit from 3M therapyPresenting and reinforcing 3M value proposition to differentiate 3M from competitive offeringsManaging wound care clinic sales in the Outside of Hospital environmentManaging the sales territory by setting a territory plan to efficiently drive strategic goals (revenue quotas), which includes calling on physicians directlyUsing training and in-servicing sessions to improve wound care knowledge in HHA, WCC, LTAC and SNF and staff and to help identify VAC and AWC appropriate patientsUsing customer education programs, tools, and presentationsMeeting with clinical managers regarding the clinical progress of patients, documenting conversation and transmitting data through field technology, and working with internal clinical teams to obtain clinical progressComplete essential business-tracing requirements by maintaining sales call data by entering into 3M system (salesforce.com), completing required corporate and region reports within designated timeframes, resolving account billing, MIA, and contract renewal issues

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionThree (3) years of combined experience in medical devices and/or healthcare in a private, public, government, or military environmentCurrent and valid driver’s license as you will be issued a company fleet vehicle for this role

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Wound Care Sales Experience PreferredAbility to travel at least 25% with some overnights and weekends as necessaryPresentation skills-comfortable presenting to large groupsParticipation and completion of a formal sales training programProficient with MS office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
