Technology Specialist - Security / AV Technician

MCC is seeking a servant-minded, responsible, and energetic Technical Specialist to install and troubleshoot different Security and Audio-Visual technology solutions for our clients. This is not a behind-the-desk kind of job!

Your Role

• Install Security or Audio Visual systems for commercial clients (low-voltage cable runs, cameras, projectors, speakers, stage lighting, video conferencing, card readers, alarm sensors, etc.)
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Balance system settings and perform minimal end user training
• Perform software and firmware updates, create data back-up files
• Complete equipment training certifications related to your field
• Document all troubleshooting in company smartphone for accurate service history

Essential Requirements

• Must have *and maintain* throughout employment

• Must have earned a high school diploma or the equivalent
• Must be able to
  • Communicate fluently in English
  • Work in different outdoor and indoor work environments (unfinished construction, attics, crawlspaces, ceiling grids, finished offices, rooftops, dusty spaces, etc.)
  • Work a minimum schedule of 08:00 am – 05:00 pm, as well as be willing to travel, including spending several nights in a row out of town
  • Safely and competently use any required hand tools and/or power tools to complete troubleshooting or installation tasks
  • Competently use a smartphone, computer, desk phone, and/or other technological tools for completion of daily tasks
  • Safely lift a minimum of 55 pounds
  • Complete projects and service calls with high quality
