Primary Responsibilities:

• Review medical claims data for accuracy and assist with the resolution of any discrepancies

• Analyze medical data and interpret key drivers of healthcare trends

• Conduct studies on healthcare utilization and costs to identify savings opportunities

• Provide management with actuarially informed findings and conclusions



""


• Assist in peer review of analyses completed by actuarial analysts



""


• Mentor and supervise actuarial analysts in the technical aspects of the team's projects

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience



""


• 2+ years of experience working in a corporate environment including experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative/quantitative data

• 1+ years of experience in SQL and/or SAS with multidimensional databases



""


• Proficiency in MS Excel for building actuarial models and summarized revenue and claims reports

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in VBA and/or PowerPoint

• Experience working in finance or the healthcare industry

• Demonstrated knowledge in the actuarial field
