Job Description
The Manager Member Communications leads a team that creates client specific marketing plans and drives the execution of quality marketing and communication pieces, as part of an overall marketing strategy, to meet Prime Therapeutics business and member experience objectives.
Responsibilities
Oversee the creation and customization of client specific member communication plans that will make an impact, support the brand, meet the needs of internal stakeholders and drive sales/retention of Prime s products, programs and services
Identify, establish and maintain key internal relationships, including but not limited to Client Engagement, Business Development, and Product Marketing, as well as relationships with assigned client marketing teams to gain an intimate understanding of the client s marketing needs and strategic plans, understand Prime s position on products and initiatives and develop client specific solutions; consult on and review client specific marketing plans
Serve as point of escalation for junior member communications account specialists and ensure appropriate collaboration across various marketing channels to cohesively deliver solutions to clients
Lead a team of Member Communications Account Specialists to deliver on department and client priorities, manage performance and development, and consistently demonstrate Prime s leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross functional, and external stakeholders
Provide writing/editorial expertise in support of driving key messaging and marketing objectives
Review and approve member communication pieces to ensure they align with Prime s style and corporate brand, and that Prime s position and key messages are consistent; ensure member communications are delivered on time and with minimal errors
Define and continuously improve the communication development process (including data and printing) and other functions of the member communications account management team; identify efficiencies, process improvement opportunities and risks, and drive the implementation of improvements in partnership with leadership; manage the development, training and execution of process and definition changes to support the advancement of the Member Communication Account Management function

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in marketing, communications or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
6 years of work experience in Business to Business (B2B) or Business to Consumer (B2C) marketing, including 2 years in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health care industry
1 year of leadership/people management experience
Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings, resolve conflict, build consensus, establish rapport and collaborate effectively across departments, internally and externally, and at all levels within an organization
Organization and prioritization skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, under pressure and strict timeframes, without compromising quality
Experience identifying opportunities for improvement and leading the implementation of process changes
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related area of study
Minimum Physical Job Requirements
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Reporting Structure
- Reports to Director in the Member Communications department
Potential pay for this position ranges from $91,100.00 - $145,300.00 based on location, experience and skills.
