Job Summary
Summary:
Responsible for IT recruitment including initial client contact, negotiating agreements, sourcing, screening, testing, interviewing and presenting pre-qualified candidates to meet client needs and expectations. Researches, identifies, recommends and utilizes the most effective recruitment and attraction strategies including sourcing, marketing/advertising, social media, networking, direct recruiting, internet based name generation methods, etc. Collaborates with I/S department leaders and HR Leadership to develop and monitor recruiting plans and strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Assists hiring managers with placing direct hires, outsourcing and consulting Epic staff. IT Recruiter is responsible for hiring strong candidates in a variety of Healthcare IT professional positions. Provides guidance and understand of LMHS recruitment and selection policies, procedures and employment laws to candidates and hiring managers. Extends job offers and coordinates salary negotiations. Ensures new hire pre-boarding processes are complete (i.e. drug screens, criminal background checks, reference checks, education verification, employee health screens, I-9). Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
