Job Description

Principal Job Responsibilities

The Investment Services Group (“ISG”) Processing Analyst is responsible for interacting with Management, ISG and Client Services Group “CSG” team members, Accounting, cash management banks, and brokerage firms. They are also responsible for understanding the products, procedures and protocols used by the Processing team. This position is not client-facing. The specific responsibilities for this role are outlined below. This position will be based out of our Harrisburg, PA office, with minimal travel expected.

Specific ongoing responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitates various back-office/operational processes for Investors such as:
    • Download bank reports and files from banking platforms
    • Enter transactions into internal shareholder accounting systems
    • Work with broker dealers and individual banks to maintain CD program and resolve disputes
    • Transmit batch wire and ACH files to cash management banks
    • Upload cash flows and trades
    • Calculate expenses
    • Reconcile Lockbox Image and Check Item files
    • Process new account and account closure requests
    • Assist with monthly statement processing

  • Resolve transaction discrepancies between accounting systems and bank record, ensuring prompt and accurate resolutions
  • Working with Operations teammates to identify inefficiencies in process and participate in creating solutions
  • Utilize reporting tools to communicate data to other teams
  • Process orders for checks and deposit tickets
  • Working with banking institutions to resolve transaction issues
  • Participate in business initiatives and documenting new processes
  • Support Processing Team Leader and Bank Relationship Manager

Skills/Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in the asset management/ financial services / banking industries with specific experience in bank operations preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Access
  • Experience with Visual Basics for Application (VBA) knowledge preferred
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Desire to improve processes, take initiative, and solve problems
  • Ability to follow procedures and update procedures when necessary
  • Able to quickly learn complex concepts and seamlessly manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work well under deadline pressure – THIS POSITION CAN BE EXTREMELY DEADLINE ORIENTED
