5+ years of experience with power system/power generation design (one-line diagrams, cable tray layouts, conduit design, wiring design, etc.) Experience utilizing ETAP, SKM, Easypower, or similar for power system studies PE or EIT if no PE, must be eligible to sit for PE Exam Controls/Instrumentation design experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, Foxboro, DeltaV, Schneider Electric, ABB, RSLogix, Rockwell, Siemens S7) Plusses Hydro, gas, fossil, and/or power plant experience Experience leading multi-disciplined projects Day-to

• Day Insight Global's client is looking for a Remote Senior Electrical Engineer.

The candidate will be responsible for multi-disciplined projects in gas, hydro, and fossil power generation facilities. They will be responsible for designing low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution, motor control design, and DCS/PLC systems design.

Additionally, they will be responsible for coordinating design teams/efforts, conducting client meetings, lead projects from start to finish with a team of designers, engineers, and drafters below them.

The projects the candidate could work on would be modifications and upgrades to facilities already existing. The role will require travel, on average 1 day every 2 weeks.
