More About the Role:
Leidos is seeking a Lab Support Engineer to support related efforts for SMIT, the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT), Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, the Leidos team will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.  The successful candidate will support planning, designing, and maintaining service supported in the NEN lab facilities.

What You'll Get to Do:
The Lab Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the Navy Enterprise Network labs located in St. Louis and San Diego.

•Work within lab operations supporting Windows servers, desktops, Linux systems and various application patching, software version updates, network and security configurations.
•Aide in effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, certificate management and maintenance of high availability lab services for engineering and testing of solutions.
•Utilize Windows automation processes with PowerShell to improve or enhance day-to-day operations to create team efficiencies & reduce manual processes.
•Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices and software.
•Have experience in identity access management and governance, to include single sign on, identity federation, enterprise directory architecture and design, and resource provisioning; Okta preferred.
•Responsible to install, integrate and deploy Okta products in client environments.
•Work closely with development teams to perform User management, group management and Password management requests.
•Perform Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for directory services environment.
•Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
•Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
-Requires B.S. Degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
•Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to qualify for a Secret clearance to start the program.
•Hands-on experience in working with DoD networks.
•Ability to multi-task, self-assign work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
•Strong analytical, communication and troubleshooting skills that enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team, including the ability to clearly articulate status and present to both customers and program leadership.
•In-depth knowledge of Active Directory infrastructure and all related services.
•Active Directory architecture and management. 
•Expert knowledge in creating, administering, and troubleshooting Group Policies (GPOs). 
•Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), SAML, SSO. 
•Experience working with InfoBlox.
•Windows Certificates Services Management. 
•Develops security standards and controls per DISA STIGS and CISA requirements.
•Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 Administration.
•Scripting Experience: PowerShell and VBScript.
•Travel may be required.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Experience working on DoD programs, specifically Navy programs.
•Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
•Experience developing SE artifacts in multiple systems development paradigms and methodologies.
•Certifications:
    -CISSP, Sec+.
    -ITIL.

Pay Range:Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00
