Job Description
- Six (6) years within the civil engineering field that included; independent engineering design, plan layout and preparation, written specifications, developing cost estimates, assembling contract documents, and other related municipal engineering processes;
- Bachelor s in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET accredited college or university
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification and Professional Engineers (PE) from Washington State or the ability to obtain Washington State licensure within 12 months of employment
- Valid driver s license and an insurable driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States of America
- Performs independent design services related to roadway and site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control in conformance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Prepares construction plans using AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Assists in the development of technical reports
- Prepares specifications and cost estimates
