This RN Manager Med/Surg will join an experienced team and help oversee these busy inpatient units. This Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all Assistant Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, Staff RN's, and other ancillary staff in the department. Responsibilities include assisting with proper staffing and budgeting, assisting with the hiring and orientation of new employees, help to ensure nurses and other staff are following established procedures and protocols as it relates to patient care, participating in departmental meetings, working closely with the Director of Med/Surg to ensure all organizational and departmental goals are being met, and ensure the highest quality of patient care. 

It is required that this Nurse Manager have their BSN, Masters in a related field, and an active RN NY licensure. Previous clinical experience in general medical/surgical or intermediate care units, as well as previous leadership experience (assistant nurse manager or supervisor) is also required for this position.
