Chief Project Engineer - 1- Electrical and Automation & 1- Electrical

** Base Salary w/Bonus incentive and benefits

  As a Chief Project Engineer,  you will be responsible for the whole Electrical & Automation discipline or a defined part of the scope in project execution towards the Project Manager for the project, who is responsible for the whole project including all disciplines (Mechanical & Process, Electrical & Automation, and Civil parts).

   The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and 5+ years of experience with installation and commissioning for power generation.

 As a Chief Project Engineer, you will focus on these responsibilities:
  • Be a representative of the company and have technical ownership of assigned tasks or projects
  • Manage project activities, integration engineering, and technical correspondence with customers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders as well as internal team members
  • Plan and safeguard execution of activities with the total cost, schedule, and customer-specific needs in focus according to standards and contract requirements, specifications, instructions, and policies
  • Actively participate in customer, vendor, and stakeholder negotiations and maintain good relationships
  • Identify, mitigate, monitor, and report risks, quality issues, use of resources, cost, schedule, and scope issues in projects and for products and work process improvement
  • Support project and sales teams in complex projects and stakeholders with concepts and product solutions maintaining and developing knowledge in the global organization

   Development responsibilities include:
  • Participate in developing and maintaining tools and work methods in own responsibility area
  • To give, collect and handle feedback regarding technical solutions and complaints
  • Provide lessons learned initiatives for developing issues in own responsibility area

 To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Knowledge of medium voltage systems, low voltages systems, protection relays
  • Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and HMI
  • Knowledge of power generation and power grids is seen as an advantage
