Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Senior in Owings Mills, MD to develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identify client requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and client representatives. Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and necessary modifications. Participate in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Provides estimates based on requirements to feed project plans, budgets, and schedules. Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and external audiences.

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: developing web applications using Spring MVC; working in Agile environment, including user stories, features, and acceptance criteria; building and interfacing with RESTful Services; building and migrating web sites using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) framework; utilizing frameworks including JavaScript, jQuery, ReactJS, Bootstrap, CSS, SCSS, LESS, and HTML; performing software development life cycle process and software programming with tools and technologies including Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, Redux, and Jenkins; performing code review; debugging large components of the Front End framework and AWS service responses; and implementing software feature deployment using unit, integration, and acceptance testing. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in one of the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed areas.
