Lead, Network Infrastructure Automation Engineer (Remote Eligible)

What You'll Do:
Work with a team of Network and NetDevOps Engineers to design, deploy, and optimize connectivity solutions in the cloud and on-prem.
Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.
Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community
Collaborate within the team and with partner teams to drive automation solutions that optimize deployments, improve resiliency, and reduce downtime
Support a maturing NetDevOps practice through development of infrastructure as code techniques and CI/CD pipeline automation
Manage, grow and maintain vendor relationships to drive innovation, collaboration, and capability alignment.

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 6 years of Infrastructure design and deployment experience
At least 6 years of experience deploying and supporting infrastructure automation solutions
At least 4 years of experience working in a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
At least 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, deploying network automation, or CloudFormation
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of experience with data center route/switch or software defined networking technologies
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
2+ years of experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
5+ years of experience with one of the following Scripting languages (Python, Ansible, or Powershell)
1+ year of experience with Github, Restful APIs, or Real Time reporting systems
2+ years of experience in Agile practices

The minimum and maximum Full time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Location is New York City- $154,905 and $182,753 for Lead Platform EngineerLocation is Colorado- $131,275 and $154,875 for Lead Platform EngineerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
