We are a multi award-winning digital marketing agency with operations in USA and Australia, is growing fast and looking for a passionate, high-performing Paid Search Director to lead the acceleration of our US search team.

Reporting to the Head of Search & Programmatic, the Paid Search Director will own search performance for Google Ads, SA360 and Microsoft Ads, supervision of their account team and development of strategic growth.

This role encompasses ownership, autonomous decision-making and collaborative internal strategic planning to ensure, as a team and a company, we are continuing to grow. The Paid Search Director will be responsible for the team performance, strategy and growth of multiple clients and accounts.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead, collaborate and mentor a team of paid search specialists to drive performance, strategy, optimization, implementation and reporting
• Manage team operations and execution (e.g. budget pacing, optimization, campaign set up, processes)
• Monitor and ensure team and account processes are adhered to
• Oversee team management, training and development
• Lead and represent the search team with communications with clients and vendors
• Oversee overall performance and KPIs across multiple brands and accounts. Monitor account profitability, reporting and forecasting
• Develop processes and procedures for account and team management
• Though will work with specialists to execute, will need to have the ability and skills to be able to make changes in accounts when required
• Collaborate with other teams e.g. Performance, Social to align and achieve clients business goals
  

What You Need for this Position

Min. 6-7 years or more experience with Paid Search (Google Ads and Microsoft Ads)

Min. 1+ years or more experience with Google SA360 (Search Ads 360) and CM360 (Campaign Manager 360)

• Experience managing Search, Discovery, YouTube, Display, PMax campaigns
• Managing Google Shopping campaigns, product feed & Google Merchant Center
• Conversion Tracking experience with Floodlight, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Data Studio
• Experience with Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Ads Editor
• Experience and knowledge using Google Analytics to interpret data & insights
• Experience managing multiple campaigns across several clients
• Experience managing and optimizing medium to large spend accounts
• Ability to perform full account audits, provide insights and recommend optimization strategies
• Experience developing of monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts
• Proven track record running paid search campaigns at scale to achieve business growth goals
• Experience working with financial data, forecasting performance and budget
• Up to date on the latest paid search features, strategies, technologies, update & Google offerings
• Experience with programmatic (DV360, TheTradeDesk, Yahoo)
• Experience in new business pitches
