Join our dynamic team of therapists in Jackson! Comprehensive Speech & Therapy Center is expanding and requires a full or part-time licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant interested in working with pediatrics in an outpatient setting. Some flexibility in hours and no weekends!
Qualifications-Graduate from an occupational therapy assistant educational program and holds a current State of Michigan License. must have an interest and/or experience in working with a pediatric population.
Our team is looking for a motivated, creative, and organized Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. Qualified candidates will collaborate with other disciplines, community agencies, and schools to best meet the needs of the clients served. Responsibilities include documenting treatment sessions and carrying out occupational therapy service plans in an exciting and effective manner, and participating in supervision with an Occupational Therapist. Exemplary communication skills are essential; the therapist will be expected to attend department meetings, trainings, and maintain open, clear communication with other team members and supervisors. Candidates will have the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with our other onsite team members, which includes PT, ST and ABA therapies. Mentoring is also offered to develop and improve our therapists' skills to a level of excellence. COTA's are encouraged to assist in program development and opportunities for professional development exist.
